PSC Community Update

Friday, 9th October 2026

Dear Students, Parents and Carers,

Welcome back for Term Four!

On behalf of our staff, I can say that we have been happy with the start to the new term with students returning in uniform with the appropriate resources ready to learn. Our classes have been settled and students have been suitably engaged with the teaching and learning provided.

Typically, there are so many key events in Term Four – I would ask that families check our College Calendar on Compass on a regular basis to see what is happening at our school from one week to the next. I thank families in advance for their wonderful support of our great school, and I wish our students all the very best with their studies across their subjects for the term ahead.

Please read through the following points:

Year 6 into 7 2027 Information Night, Wednesday 14 October, 2026 (6:00pm) – our Information Night will be held in the Gym at the College; we welcome families and students to this important event.

Official Opening of our New Warreeny Centre, Friday 16 October, 2026 (12 noon) – we are very much looking forward to the official opening of our Capital Works Building Program next week (Friday 16 October, 2026, 12 noon) with current and former staff, students, families, architects, our builder, the Department of Education, the Victorian Schools Building Authority and our Local Member in Emma Vulin will all be represented on the day.

Extra Transition Days for Year 6 into 7 students, 2027 – these Extra Transition Days for some of our students will commence Tuesday 13 October. There will be a number of these Extra Transition Days throughout Term 4 to support our students and families. For further details here, please contact Kay Chandler (Assistant Principal) on pH - 5945 1433.

The Class of 2026 – we wish our Year 12 students all the best over the coming days as they close out the year with their studies. Many are finalising their assessments and some will be embarking on the formal VCE Year 12 Exams which commence with the English Exam on Tuesday 27 October. We wish all of our students all the very best at this time of year, and of course we wish them well with their future endeavours (families of Year 12 students are invited to our special Year 12 Farewell Whole School Assembly, Tuesday 20 October, 8.55am, in the Gym)

Student Free Day, Friday, 30 October, 2026 – families are reminded that there will be a Student Free Day, Friday 30 October. This will be a great opportunity to complete some further planning.

Art and Technology Exhibition, Thursday 5 November, 2026 – we are again looking forward to the Art and Technology Exhibition to be held at the College, Thursday 5 November. It is another opportunity for our students to showcase their wonderful work with students, staff and families in attendance.

Regional Athletics, Tuesday 6 October, 2026 – we were able to send a team to this very high level of competition against other Regional Schools at Casey Fields (Cranbourne) earlier in the week. Our students had a great time and we thank them for their participation on the day – our students did very well to reach this level of competition.

Please contact our General Office on pH - 5945 1433 should you have any queries - we are here to help; be sure to have a great weekend everyone

Regards
