Year 7 2027 Passion Projects

PASSION PROJECT DESCRIPTIONS

At Pakenham Secondary College, Passion Projects provide students with the opportunity to explore their interests, discover new skills and engage in meaningful learning experiences beyond the traditional classroom.

Each Passion Project has been designed to foster curiosity, creativity, collaboration and personal growth while supporting the development of important transferable skills such as communication, problem-solving, critical thinking, resilience and teamwork.

The descriptions below provide detailed information about each Passion Project, including the types of activities students may undertake, the skills they will develop and any special requirements or indicative costs that may apply.

We encourage students and families to carefully review each project before submitting their Passion Project preferences. Students should select projects that align with their interests, strengths and areas they would like to explore further.

Please note that while every effort will be made to place students in one of their preferred projects, some projects may not run if minimum numbers are not met, while others may reach capacity due to high demand. Students may therefore be allocated to their nominated back-up option.

We look forward to seeing our students embrace new challenges, build new friendships and pursue their passions through these exciting learning opportunities.

The AFL Passion Project gives students the chance to learn and improve their skills in Australian Rules Football.
