Performing Arts at PSC

Pakenham Secondary College has established an exciting Performing Arts Program in 2023. Our Performing Arts Program consists of Music, Drama and Dance.

This year we are thrilled to produce our debut production "Back to the 80s"!

A pop culture trip down memory lane, Back to the 80's tells the story of Corey Palmer and his senior year of high school: his best friends, the class bully, and the girl he loves. Comedy, hijinks and a fantastic soundtrack, this show is a blast into the past and a fun time for everyone!

Tickets are now available for this fabulous event.

Some of Genelle's achievements are:

  • Building a Performing Arts Curriculum that helps students achieve high results in VCE (many of Genelle's students have been recognised in the VCAA Season of Excellence)

  • Nomination of Teacher Excellence Award for Drama Victoria

  • Founded her own Theatre Non-Profit organisation

  • Practicing Producer, Director and Performer in the Melbourne Theatre and Cabaret scene.

Students can also choose to learn an instrument in small group lessons as part of our Instrumental Music Program. There are no fees for these lessons, as they are subsidised by the school.
