On Saturday, 13th September, Pakenham Secondary College students will be front and centre at the Victorian State Schools Spectacular. This live show (involving music, dance, circus acts and puppetry) is performed twice to an audience of around 12,000 people at the John Cain Arena in Melbourne City, as well as televised throughout the State of Victoria later in the year. 19 of our students are involved in the production (as Principal Dancer, Principal Choir member and a Mass Dance Troupe), having been involved in rehearsals from the beginning of the year. Their hard work and dedication to perfecting their roles is to be commended.
After his stand-out performance in both 2023 and 2024, our Principal Dancer, James Nimaya, was once again one of 30 dancers chosen from thousands of students across the state to perform on stage. James' exceptional natural talent and charisma ensure that he is a major highlight of the event. His stage presence is truly mesmerising. It has been an extremely busy few months for James, as he also has a starring role, as Gaston, in our fabulous College Production of Beauty and the Beast Jr.
James was also selected to represent the entire Victorian State Schools Spectacular Production by being the face of all official posters for this incredible event.
