We Grow Through Connection
At Pakenham Secondary College, our supportive approach to learning ensures the growth of every individual student.
SOAR
SOAR is a set of ideals that the College lives by, helping to shape socially responsible citizens and build pathways to their future.
At Pakenham Secondary College, our students are at the centre of all that we do. We aim to develop the whole student and create pathways for their future. The College’s values hinge upon the acronym SOAR, which in turn has inspired the eagle in the school’s logo.

TESTIMONIALS
"We would like to commend Pakenham Secondary on what has been a more than successful transition year with our daughter.
On the back of two years of remote learning in lockdowns, our daughter transitioned into Year 7. Like any parents we had our concerns and expectations.
These concerns were very quickly put to rest as we saw the great connections develop with Teachers, Leadership Teams and fellow students.
Our daughter has gone from strength to strength this year, her improvement in Mathematics has been exceptional and her social confidence has blossomed. The opportunities that have been afforded to her through the Enhancement Program has been wonderful and we are pleased she will continue in this program in Year 8.
The school's academia goals and social connectedness is very apparent in their actions, communications and ethos.
We look forward to next year, and our son enrolling in a couple of years."

A MAJOR UPGRADE FOR PAKENHAM SECONDARY COLLEGE
Dear Students, Parents and Carers,
The Victorian Government is investing record funding in our schools to make Victoria the Education State and give every student access to a great local school and education.
Our school has been allocated $11.3 million in the 2023-2024 State Budget to upgrade classrooms, including those in what the College refers to as D Block.
We will work closely with the School Council and the Victorian School Building Authority (VSBA) to deliver an outcome that will benefit the entire community.
To prepare for the upgrade, we will complete an Asset Management Plan over the next 11 weeks. The AMP is a long-term document that helps to plan for a school's future. The plan identifies, organises and prioritises the building works required at a school - ensuring students have access to educational facilities that prepare them to thrive in the 21st century. We will be sharing updates on this and will be running some sessions to gather input from our teachers and staff as well as parents/carers. We will also involve our students to listen to their unique and very important perspective.
We will keep you informed with updates as the project progresses.
For further information please contact Aaron Smith, College Principal, on 5945 1433, together with visiting this website and our social media platforms for updates as they come to hand.
Kind regards,
Aaron Smith
