Each student is to be responsible for his/her own behaviour and the College recognises that the majority of students behave in a positive manner.
The policy is based on the following principles:-
Staff and students will treat each other with respect at all times
No student has the right to disrupt the learning of others

The College acknowledges the link between discipline and welfare.
Problems should be worked out in a peaceful, constructive and time efficient manner
Behaviour in breach of the Student Code of Conduct will incur sanctions in accordance with Pakenham Secondary College’s Welfare and Discipline policy.
The above statements will facilitate the creation of an environment in which students’ effort and improvement can be acknowledged.
